Completed in 2005 with Kahn Design Associates

This architecture studio is an addition to a 1960s building located in the industrial area of West Berkeley. Built above the parking garage, the 20 foot high structure is open to sunlight on the north side and features a mezzanine with library, conference room and supporting spaces on the south side. Large windows and clerestories provide ample day light and natural ventilation for workspaces while outdoor terraces on each level allow for relaxation and facilitate interaction between staff.
