Located in a developing area of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, this new 16,000 square foot office building houses the headquarters of a well-established educational equipment company. Inside, a triple-height atrium connects the building’s public spaces, which include a reception area, showroom, display space and conference room. The office floors above are protected from the southeast sunlight by perforated screens and are linked by open stairs that also act as a natural ventilation stack for the building.

Constructed with locally sourced materials and methods, the building was designed with advanced analytical tools to maximize passive cooling and daylight in order to improve comfort and energy efficiency.
